Dear Students:

As your principal, I am pleased to welcome you to the 2010-2011 school year at John Adams.  I am excited about the many activities we have planned for you this year: assembly programs, dances, book fairs, and class trips, just to name a few.  I encourage you to participate in all that we have to offer, both academically and socially.  I also encourage you to work hard in your classes and to do the very best that you can.  Your teachers are among the finest in the district, and they genuinely care about helping you achieve academic success.

Mr. Mirthil, our assistant principal, and I are always available to help you with any problems or concerns you might have.  Your guidance counselors, Mrs. Murphy and Dr. Hailes are also available, as is Ms. Howard, our school nurse.  So don't hesitate to ask to see one of us if you need assistance.
